Our client, is a distinguished, award winning organisation who have a rich heritage within the retail industry. A rare but challenging opportunity has arisen to join their busy Cambridgeshire offices as a Contracts & Tenders Manager.
Reporting directly into the Head of Client and Contracts management, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing and delivering our clients services function and commercial contracts and tender process, including the preparation, securing & submission of all tenders.
Working forty hours per week, the chosen candidate will have a range of duties including the preparation of commercial tenders, delivering bid presentations, renewing contracts, implementing sales strategies and a whole range of analysis and reporting tasks such as tender KPI reports.
Although predominantly office based, you will be expected to attend various meetings across the country to ensure a full understanding of client and customer expectations and services offered.
Our client is looking to hire a candidate who is ideally familiar with all tender related activities including portals, Portals, PQQs, ITTs and tender management.
Experience of tender bid preparation, ideally within the education sector, is essential and you will also need excellent communication and negotiation skills up to director and board level.
