An opportunity has opened for an experienced Import Clerk with strong knowledge of import/export documentation with a courier/traffic/transport background who is looking for work in the Mildenhall, Suffolk area.

A busy and well-established manufacturing company are looking to add a further recruit to join this fun, family feels office.

Based in Mildenhall, this company is able to offer free onsite parking.

This role is on a temporary ongoing basis initially to start ASAP with a leading business. This position has become available due to the business expanding. This is a part-time role working 20-25 hours per week.

The main purpose of this role is to take control of all administration relating to new documentation required for import and export following Brexit. You will collate all paperwork accurately for goods in and goods out; contact customers, both internal and external, to ensure accuracy of paperwork.

Skills/Experience

  • Must have experience working with imports and exports, Clearing Agents, and HMRC;
  • Tariff codes, country codes, and airway bills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a confident, pleasant telephone manner;
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to data entry skills.
