Our client is a prestigious employer based in the heart of Newmarket, Suffolk. We are actively looking to recruit, on their behalf, A part time Cleaning Operative to clean the busy public site. This is an attractive opportunity for someone looking for a new cleaning opportunity in a vibrant company. They are looking for the right candidate to start immediately. This will be working 55 hours over a 2-week period. The shifts rotate on a weekly basis and are detailed below. Please do not apply if you cannot adhere to the shifts. This is a permanent position, and the company are looking to recruit as soon as possible.

The company are looking for professional Cleaning Operatives that meet the client’s high standards for the environment. They need someone who is going to be able to support the cleaning team in the day to day duties.

Wednesday 06.00 - 13.00
Thursday 06.00 -13.00
Friday 0600 -13.00
Saturday - OFF
Sunday - OFF

Week Two:

26 hours

Monday - OFF
Tuesday 06.00 -13.00
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - OFF
Friday - 11.00 -20.00
Saturday - 08.00 -18.00
Sunday - OFF

Rate of Pay

8.33 per hour

Responsibilities

Ensure a professional service to the client
Using cleaning machines (Training will be required)
Having a flexible approach when other members of staff are off requests to additional cover as required
Colour coding all cleaning products
Being responsible and safe at all time whilst working near the general public
Proactive reporting of all Health & Safety issues
Undertaking training and development as required
Responsible for the completion of a variety of straightforward, stand-alone tasks or high-volume transactions within set rules and instructions
Being able to take instruction & direction by team members and management
Able to work efficiently on your own & as team
Good English & communication skills
Likely to be a member of a team that focuses on day-to-day routine tasks

Experience (Desirable)

Experience within a similar cleaning remit, preferably within a public environment
Use of cleaning machines (not essential)
Keen attention to detail
Communicative, friendly and hard-working approach
