​Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry.

Our client is looking to recruit several Machine Operatives to work at their busy factory in Mildenhall (Suffolk).

Duties

• Loading raw material onto machines

• Running pre-set machinery to client specification

• Using hand tools and power tools removes debris from products.

• Unloading finished products from machines.

• Quality checks of finished goods.

• Maintaining good housekeeping and reporting near misses/unsafe activity.

Hours & Pay

Applicants will need to be able to work 12-hour shifts between the hours of 6 am – 6 pm and the shift rotation will include one weekend day.

Normal working hours: Approx 77 hours over 2 weeks.

The first 4 -6 weeks will be a training on Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm, paying £11.25 per hour.

Lots of overtime available at the time and a half rate.

Pay rate:

£12.83 per hour

Personal Specification

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a Manufacturing,Engineering, orMachine operationenvironment.

• Be reliable and trustworthy.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Able to read technical specifications and communicate effectively.
