Our client is a nationally renowned employer who operate within the scientific research sector.

We have been assigned to recruit, on their behalf a Maintenance Engineer to join their forward-thinking team, based in the in the historic city of Cambridge.

This is an exciting and challenging position that will require you to complete following duties:

• Planning and carrying out maintenance on machines, large engines and steam boilers
• Reacting to issues and repairing them in an efficient manner
• Preventing machine downtime with regular checks

The selected Maintenance Engineer we are looking to recruit will have background in planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance and have experience with steam boilers. This is a rewarding role, being offered on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful Maintenance Engineer for this vacancy will be offered a highly competitive hourly rate of up to £18.00/hour and will be required to work an 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Our client also offers several attractive perks and company benefits.
