Production Team Leader

Crem Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a Production Team leader for our Red Lodge based Client who really looks after and cares about its people and offers great opportunities for personal development.

This is a hands-on role and will report into the Production Controller. The post holder will be responsible for Planning production and supporting the team to ensure production deadlines are met to a high standard.

Main duties include:

  • Production schedule planning
  • Labour & resource planning
  • Overprinting and Packing Machine Operation
  • Safety & Quality (Process & Improvement)
  • Support all Health & Safety rules & regulations
  • Support the Warehouse Management Team to ensure efficient and accurate service levels
  • Understand the Set-Up, Operation and Preventative Maintenance of production machinery

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Warehouse/Production Management Systems (SAP desirable)
  • PC Literate (Word and Excel at Intermediate Level)
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • 2 years previous experience minimum of managing work and people
  • An awareness of performance management, to include attendance, disciplinary,
  • Safety & Quality System awareness

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. Various shift rotations between 6am and 6pm. Applicants must be flexible with this, occasional weekend work is required in the busy summer months.
