Managing the day to day purchasing and stock control of the Operation Department and supporting Contract Managers ensuring relevant materials and equipment are available for projects.
Main duties involve:
- Stock control and re-ordering
- Obtaining quotes and ensuring competitive rates and lead times are achieved
- Liaising with sub-contractor suppliers
- Ordering plant and equipment and arranging delivery/collection to/from site
Working closely with Contracts Managers and informing other departments of changing in supply situations.
