Our busy client is recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their professional team in Newmarket, Suffolk. The right candidate should have accurate and timely administration for the sales team. This is an attractive opportunity for someone who has attention to detail required by the process industries. This is a 12 month contract to cover maternity.

Maternity Cover: 12 Months

Salary: 20K
Holiday: 20 days pro-rata

    Detailed Job Functions:
     
  • Logging enquiries
  • Updating quote log
  • Set Follow Up for Internal Sales Team on system - i.e. add to work queue.
  • Logging orders
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Pricing up orders before sending to the factory
  • Dealing with house accounts - inform customers of improvements & delays, with support
  • from team as needed.
  • Checking acknowledgements
  • Raising acknowledgements & sending to customers
  • Adding customers and contacts to ISAH
  • Attaching items to the RM
  • Attaching UPS Notifications to RM
  • Running outstanding acknowledgements report
  • Ordering stationary
  • Post- open post, stamp with that days date and hand to the relevant person. Last thing in the
  • day check the out-going post tray then weigh and put the correct stamps on the post.
  • Answering phones- answer phones and put through to the relevant person or take a message
  • and email it to them.
  • Checking sales inbox to see if anything needs doing e.g. customers chasing PO’s, deliveries,
  • or requesting information. Proactively work with relevant members of team to keep flow of work moving forward.
  • Exhibition leads- Log them on ISAH
  • Support the General Manager, support team meetings and look after Company visitors
