We are proud to present our client, a highly regarded employer based in the picturesque town of Bury St Edmunds. We are currently recruiting for this company on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent contract.

This is a fast-paced role that will require a high level of attention to detail as well as the ability to maintain a high level of performance. You must posses a good level of Maths, English and basic IT skills. The role does not require you to hold, but it is advantageous if you have an in-date Forklift License, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Checking of incoming stock, supplies and accuracy of deliveries.
• Unloading and loading the delivery vehicles.
• Using the stock management system. (Full training provided)
• Moving stock using Forklift Truck, Pallet Trucks. (Full training provided)
• Using the inhouse machinery. (Full training provided)
• Supporting other business divisions when required.
• Liaising with delivery drivers and Sales/Purchasing staff.

The successful candidate for the Warehouse Operative role can expect annual salary of £17,000 - £18,000 with on-site parking and a generous bonus package including salary reviews. The company itself is expanding so the chance for growth within the business is likely for the right person.
