Our client is an innovative and prestigious employer from the manufacturing industry, who operate on the outskirts of Cambridge.

We have been assigned to recruit, on their behalf, a focused and hard-working, Welder to join their expanding team.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, the Welder will be responsible for MIG and TIG welds, quality checks and assisting with the general manufacturing of precision engineered products.

The MIG/TIG Welder we are looking to recruit will have a manufacturing working background, MIG/TIG Welding experience and a high-level of attention to detail. The role includes welding on MIG but is 90% TIG based, in materials such as Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. You will be working under your own initiative using engineering drawings.

The Welder role will initially start on a temporary basis which after 3 months will become a permanent contract.

The selected candidate can expect a training schedule and a good, negotiable salary, dependant on experience.
