​Crem recruitment are working with an an established business based in Mildenhall as they look for a Workshop Operative with a Mechanical Bias. Ideally you should be able to demonstrate basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge, in areas such as:

• Soldering/ lights/ beacons/ alarms/ radios/ cameras

• Hydraulic Hitches/ setting pressures/ fitting hydraulic attachments

• Knowledge of mechanical/ fitting skills would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and record all machine checks

• Prepare and install machine accessories prior to dispatch

• General Workshop maintenance

• Adhering to Health and Safety at all times

• Washing and preparing machines for delivery.

This is a hands on role and does involve working outside. Applicants should be physically fit and have a good level of written and Spoken English. This role does also involve some computer work.

Previous experience operating a Forklift would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday.
